Glühwein (Glow wine in German) is a hot, spiced wine also known as mulled
wine. Other Languages refer to it as Glög. Glintvein, Vin Chaud/Bru.Ibt or
Spiced Wine. In essence, the drink consists of wine and spices heated to just
below boiling point before drinking.
Mulled wines have a long history dating back to as far as 500B.C. where spices
and herbs were added to wine for health reasons as well as probably for an
improvement of taste. The recipes varied depending on family and country
tradition.
Glühwein is reminiscent of the European Christmas and Austrian ski holidays.
It is a tasty drink that warms up the body in cold weather and is a popular
treat at parties.
It is syrup concentrate brewed from only natural, traditional ingredients, the the solids sieved out, leaving the aromatic and spicy blend. It consists of sugar, water, glucose, citric acid, spices, herbs and contains no preservatives or colourants.

The family size.
The development of the unique idea of Glühwein concentrate (Glühwein Mix) originated in 1998 by two German families Weygand and Knoll in Pretoria.
The first sales were done at Deli markets and a few restaurants but the demand
for the mix grew fast. The company Knoll Solutions cc was founded early in
2003 and since then the production facility has improved continuously to allow
for greater volumes and higher quality standards. The huge growth in demand
for the Jodlers Glühwein Mix has proven the quality and the need for this
unique product.
The managing members are committed to ensure that strict hygiene standards
